Food Groups

I belong to a couple of groups that do the dutch oven cooking and BBQing. The good thing is, you get lots of tips and recipes. The bad thing is, you sure do get hungry. There has been talk of different shrimp boils, seafood gumbo etc. and I really miss fresh seafood. I imagine that the hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico have upset the oyster and shrimp industry for the time being. I did buy oysters last Thanksgiving to make a family favorite and think the pint was right at $13. Don't belive I'll do that this year as that would put about five gallons of gas in the Baby Truck!.
