One More

project almost finished. The fellow replacing tile in the bottom half of the shower stall just has to grout tomorrow and let it cure for a couple of days..He did a great job with what he had to work with. We were lucky nothing had to be replaced behind the old tile. The transition is a deep maroon rope tile, taking it from the original light turquoise (early 60's) to a cool grey. Rather retro looking. Anyway, glad that is done. Will enjoy a shower now and not be afraid of knocking any tile off. In researching (very briefly) tile and bathrooms I found site where they install a new "shell" over t he existing tub. No need to knock it out. Might come in handy redoing an old place.

The other cool thing about the tile man...said he would be here at 8 a..m. and that is when he showed up..that's a double WOW!
