They finished up the boiler installation about 5:15 today. Had a few problems but it is in, all the radiators are bled and Mom is ready for the next cold front, which is due in
Wed. night. Suppose to get down to 30 or so. They tied it in to the new thermostat that was installed earlier this summer for the AC. Mom caught it. Darn, here I thought she would use the old one and I could keep the heat under "boiling" this winter...just kidding.
TUESDAY 6:30 a.m.
Coffee's good..had a restless night with an upset stomach.
They are still predicting the front coming through this evening. Wonder what temperature Mom will set the thermostat?
The other reason for tying it in to the new digital thermostat is the accuracy of the degrees. With the way the price of natural gas has shot up, those degrees will probably make a big difference. I have heard that the prices have doubled already.
