The group

arrived for dinner. One was a little late but we had started eating as it was already an hour later than when Mom usually eats. Anyway, thought I had scorched the lasagna but it was OK. Just on the verge and that makes a BIG difference. I baked a lemon cake, angel biscuits and the lasagne in the dutch ovens. Creamy corn and cole slaw with homemade dressing rounded out the meal. Everyone went for seconds so all was OK. Mom and I had left overs for supper. Was still good. Think I am cooked out for a couple of days and plan on pulling something out of the freezer for tomorrw.

Hope they show up to finish the boiler installation tomorrow and get that done.
