Another Day

Haven't had a week of this and concerned about my mental health.

Lucky there has been cool weather. A nice change.

Mom has fair days and not so good days. I can imagine with the pain in the arm how tired she must get when it overrides the meds. She is a trooper tho. I just wonder what kind of toll this will take. Thursday is Xray day so will see if there is any progress in the bones healing.

Oh My

Got Mom out of the hospital and within 4 hours she went to the potty chair without calling for help. I caught her on her way back to the lift chair. She was almost falling. Got mad when I told her not to do that again, but lo and behold, 4 o'clock in the morning was trying it again. Makes me so damn mad. Must keep my stress level down if I am to survive this.

Soon

I will be headed back north by the end of the weekend. Not ready..not ever ready but a "gotta do it".
Mom's other daughter headed out there today. Will stay a whole two days. What a piece of work she is.
Everything going ok at my daughter's so far. My DIL's Mom is still in the hospital. I wonder if she will ever make it home.
The little one that we are taking care of has been pretty good so far, even when refused all the pudding she asks for. I took her to day care today and she was even good in the truck. Thank goodness for small favors.

Life

Too much to write at this time..still in Texas but need to be in Nebraska. Mom fell and broke her shoulder. Is in the hospital but doing OK. wants to be home. I will be there soon. In the meantime the grandkids really helping out! Problems here in Texas, tho. I will get there as soon as I can.
